A long time between posts

Wow, I have just looked back at this blog and realised that it has been almost 2 years since our last post. I am making a real effort to get back into the swing of things. A lot has happened since our last post, we have left the outback and moved closer to the East coast...(still 4 hours away). Our baby boy arrive and is now a little man, almost two years old now. So now that we are all caught up my plan is to blog at least once a week.

July 2010

Well for those who have not yet heard the news...we are expecting our first child in December. We are very excited about this news and can't wait. Jingle Bells is growing nicely and as Dr V said we have one very healthy and active baby on our hands. The school term has finished which means that I am now on holidays...sadly Mike is not, however, he is enjoying working at the moment. I have spent this week quilting and doing housework, so many little projects on the go at the moment. We are having the week off together next week and heading home to Parkes for a few days and then off to Sydney for a few days to visit Austen and Gabe and play the role of tourists, oh an of course there will be shopping involved. Exciting News

Hi All,
Wow our 2nd post in two days...we are on a roll now. Today we got a letter in the mail from the department of immigration re Mike's visa. We are very excited to announce that Mike is now a temporary permanent resident for the next 2 years. This is a load of our minds and now means that Mike can work for as long as he likes for the one employer. Very exciting and fabulous news indeed.

Well this is our first blog and it is a little scary to know what to say. Basically we have set this page up as a way for our nearest and dearest (you) to keep up to date with what is happening in the Guess house hold. We hope that our ramblings provide you with some enjoyment. Keeping checking back as big things are a foot so regular updates will be made.
